MSA Aircraft Products Inc (MSA) is dedicated to providing quality interior composites and modular window shade systems using innovative solutions to meet the requirements of modern aircraft cabin completions.
Its main product line, the Accordia pleated shade system, is a very popular choice for window treatments among corporate aircraft operators, with over 40,000 units produced to date – on aircraft ranging from King Air to the largest palaces in the sky, such as the Airbus A340 and the Boeing 747.
Few products offer such a value-added improvement to the cabin environment as the Accordia window shade. The design process of this product involves considering all aspects in the interior modification of an aircraft, from the designer, engineer, customer, installer, airframe manufacturer, maintenance department, aircraft broker as well as leasing companies. MSA currently owns over 18 design and product patents and continues to invest in new ideas and technology.
As a result of proven engineering and research and development capabilities, a broad line of proprietary products and a sustained record of growth, MSA was able to attract and partner with Carlisle Enterprises LLC, a unique private investment firm whose principals and limited partners are primarily comprised of former or current Fortune 500 senior operating executives. The new relationship, which began in January 2009, gives the MSA management team access to Carlisle’s significant aerospace knowledge and operating expertise.
