Air France announces A380 gallery line-up
Air France has announced the artistic line-up for its A380 gallery in February and March. Every month, Air France offers a specially designed video exhibition on its A380 aircraft, in partnership with some of the world’s most famous and renowned museums and cultural centres. La Première (first) and Affaires (business) passengers can discover them in the gallery, a special area dedicated to culture and the arts located on the aircraft’s upper deck.
In February, Air France will present a virtual guided tour of Mapping the Studio: Artists from the François Pinault collection. The exhibition – 300 pieces of contemporary art by 60 different artists – is being shown simultaneously at Punta della Dogana and Palazzo Grassi in Venice.
Since the launch of Air France’s A380 in November 2009, the gallery has shown an exhibition from The Louvre called Titian, Tintoretto, Veronese: Rivals in Renaissance Venice, and in January 2010, spotlighted photographer Inge Morath with the exhibition First Color from the Magnum Gallery. In March, Air France is again teaming with The Louvre, this time with works from the exhibition Holy Russia: Russian Art from the Beginnings to Peter the Great.
