Mac celebrates the end of Airbus source inspection
MacCarthy Aviation has announced that it is now exempt from source inspection for spare parts from Airbus.
“This is a positive step forward for MacCarthy Aviation and underlines all the hard work we have put in with Airbus to get to this stage", stated Rubin Flower, programme manager at MacCarthy Aviation. "Working with Airbus, understanding their requirements and adapting our internal processes and techniques will save MacCarthy and Airbus many man hours and most importantly give Airbus the products they need on time and on cost.”
Dave Farrier, supply chain manager at MacCarthy added, “MacCarthy Aviation continues to supply Airbus directly for new literature pockets for all A380 aircraft and this announcement by Airbus underpins our achievements and hard work over the last 12 months.”
