BDLI, in conjunction with Airbus, has created a fascinating, integrated concept for the future. The single-aisle, double-decker aircraft is based on an A320, with a ‘Max Space’ architecture, RFID tracking of passengers, and an automated luggage drop with smart storage. The Recaro seating is flexible, featuring adjustable width and pitch as a revenue generator, while the lavatories, a Diehl concept, have a smooth shape for easy cleaning, touchless operation, and active self-cleaning antibacterial surfaces.
