Carlisle Interconnect Technologies (CarlisleIT) has completed the acquisition of Tenencia, an EASA Part 21 design and production organization based in Coventry, UK that trades under the name Tenencia Aerospace Design. The acquisition is intended to broaden CarlisleIT’s global capabilities for design certification of commercial aircraft to both EASA and FAA design and production requirements.
Tenencia specializes in the integration and certification of electrical and avionics systems, cabin systems, internal and external structures, VIP interiors and commercial aerospace applications across a range of aircraft. The company operates under AS9100 and carries CAA part 21 production approval and is approved to both AS9100D and BS EN ISO 9001:2008.
