Qatar Airways says that Qsuite is the finest business-class experience to be found on any airline, and it has enhanced the design to create ‘Qsuite Next Gen’, with more comfort, more privacy, more versatility, more… everything.

“Our team decided to raise the benchmark once again,” said Qatar Airways Group CEO Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer at Farnborough International Airshow 2024. Qatar Airways plans to introduce the suites on its incoming Boeing 777-9 aircraft, which it hopes to receive by 2025.

Qatar Airways Group CEO Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer led the Qsuite Next Gen reveal event at Farnborough International Airshow 2024, where the airline had set out a large brand experience area
Qatar Airways Group CEO Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer had a co-host at the Qsuite Next Gen reveal, in the form of Sama 2.0, the airline’s holographic virtual cabin crew member. ‘She’ will continue to learn and develop over time to improve responses to passenger requests through ongoing interactions. Sama was developed in partnership with UneeQ, a leader in AI digital human technology
The Qsuite Next Gen was shrouded by a large curtain. With the high suite walls, the passenger experience within was not immediately apparent

The crowd at Farnborough International Airshow were keen to get on stage and explore the Qsuite Next Gen
So what lies within the new, higher walls of the Qsuite Next Gen business-class seat?
The most versatile of the Qsuite Next Gen options, the Quad Suite, has four seats, with central privacy screens that can be repositioned to the side to create a large social or productivity space, whether two, three or four of the occupants wish to share the experience
The redesigned screens (which now fold rather than slide to the side) are also now higher. There is also increased space for guests to dine together, which is a hallmark of Qatari heritage
The screens within Qsuite Next Gen can be deployed during flight to create varying levels of privacy or openness for each passenger in the Quad Suite
The Qsuite Next Gen is equipped with movable 4K OLED Panasonic Astrova IFE displays
