October 26, 2016 – HAECO Cabin Solutions has signed a deal that sees Wingo, a new low-cost airline, become the first Latin American customer to fly the Vector single-aisle economy class seat.

As part of the deal, HAECO Cabin Solutions has handled everything from reconfiguration engineering, to obtaining the supplemental type certificate and delivering the seats. To meet the airline’s commercial operation requirements, the company also completed the retrofit process for its Boeing 737-700 fleet, from order to delivery, in three months.

Wingo will begin flying its newly retrofitted Boeing 737s in Latin America and the Caribbean in December 2016.
