Chinese carrier, Shenzhen Airlines has ordered more than 300 CL5710 business class seats and 5500 economy class seats BL3530 from Recaro Aircraft Seating for its fleet of 37 Boeing 737MAX aircraft, the first of which took to the skies on August 3.
This contract marks the first delivery of the CL5710 to a Chinese airline, a seat which Recaro says is the only business class seat for short and medium-haul routes that is electrically adjustable and approved for Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 aircraft.
Shenzhen Airlines also selected Recaro’s popular BL3530 economy class seat, a lightweight design with features including storage and shelving space for tablets, smartphones or e-readers.
