AZUR Aviation orders Zonal Drying for nine Boeing aircraft

May 18, 2017 – CTT Systems, a manufacturer of aircraft humidity control systems, has announced an order for its Zonal Drying systems to be retrofitted on two Boeing 757-200s and seven Boeing 767-300s. The systems will be retrofitted by AZUR Aviation, with deliveries due from October 2017 to Q1 2018.

Peter Landquist, VP of sales & marketing at CTT Systems AB, commented, “We are privileged to receive an additional order from AZUR Aviation, now with proven system effectivity from previous installation and valuing the benefits of mastering the root-cause of fuselage condensation. Hereby, the new aircraft will not gain weight from accumulated water/ice accretion (which increases fuel and CO2 burn) and will not experience moisture problems, such as electrical failures, which increase costs.”
