August 1, 2016 – MRO service provider, SR Technics, has completed and delivered a cabin modification project for 12 Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) wide-body aircraft.

In late 2014, SR Technics teamed with SAS to enhance the cabin experience of SAS’s Airbus A330-300 and A340-300 aircraft, and the two companies have just completed this joint project on time.

The refurbished cabins come in new colors with improved ergonomic seats in all classes, upgraded IFE systems and inflight wi-fi. The color and intensity of the mood lighting can be adjusted to the time and duration of the journey.

A number of C-checks and full aircraft repainting work was also completed during the cabin modifications program.
