December 9, 2015 –The Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) and Reed Exhibitions have announced the co-location of APEX EXPO and Aircraft Interiors Expo Asia (AIX Asia), a move the companies expect will create the biggest airline passenger experience trade show in Asia. The event will take place in Singapore from October 24-27, 2016 at the Marina Bay Sands hotel (pictured above).

The decision to co-locate APEX and AIX Asia represents a closer collaboration that could benefit the airline industry. Reed Exhibitions will be moving the AIX Americas event to Singapore for October 2016 under the title AIX Asia. Both APEX EXPO and AIX Americas will return to the USA in 2017.

“Both APEX and Reed Exhibitions have a history of incredibly successful events, so this collaboration will be a win-win for our industry as a whole. We are enthused that APEX will gain more members through our collaboration efforts to advance the passenger experience,” said Joe Leader, APEX CEO.

Katie Murphy, senior exhibition director at Reed Exhibitions, added, “Following feedback from our exhibitors and airline attendees, we are delighted to be co-locating AIX Asia next autumn alongside APEX EXPO. This provides a great opportunity to bring the industry together and we are looking forward to a fantastic show in Singapore.”

At the co-located event, AIX Asia will feature the latest innovations in aircraft seating, cabin interior design, management systems, soft furnishings, leather, textiles, galley equipment, and lighting services. APEX EXPO will feature the world of airline passenger experience including electronics, airline passenger content, passenger engagement technology, and IFE technology. APEX will also lead the coordination of educational and networking events across the passenger experience industry.
