Diehl Aerosystems has won additional work packages on the Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner. The first-tier supplier has been assigned to develop, manufacture and deliver the cabin ceilings as well as all doorway lining parts for the aircraft. This contract for cabin work packages marks a milestone in the cooperation between Boeing and Diehl. Diehl currently supplies the cabin lighting system as well as actuator control electronics for the Boeing 787-8, 787-9 and 787-10. Furthermore, cabin lighting solutions for all Boeing twin-aisle platforms are supplied by Diehl.

The company has dedicated a team of engineers to the newly-won work packages. The cabin interior elements from Diehl for this aircraft will be designed and built by Diehl Aircabin in Laupheim, Germany, with first deliveries to Boeing being scheduled in due time. Diehl Aircabin became an approved supplier to Boeing at the beginning of 2015.
