AVIC Cabin Systems unifies global sales organisation

0

AVIC Cabin Systems (ACS) is implementing a strategy to further integrate its company structure, with the first step being the setting up of a global sales management team. This combined team will offer customers the group’s full portfolio of cabin products and services from a single source, with the integration plan being a core growth strategy for the company.

While united, the new sales team will be located around the world, with the leaner and more agile structure intended to provide greater flexibility, cost efficiency and a one-stop-shop to the market in the future.

The first phase of the integration will combine the current sales teams from Thompson Aero Seating and AIM Altitude under the leadership of Andy Morris, VP commercial at AVIC Cabin Systems, who has been Thompson’s VP of sales for more than seven years. The existing sales teams for FACC, Fesher and Jiatai are not affected and remain in place.

“As we continue on our path towards further integration within our group of companies it is more important than ever to create a strong and unified commercial approach, leveraging synergies across our brands, and presenting an integrated offering for cabin solutions to our customers”, stated Zhen Pang, CEO of ACS.
