Singapore Airlines to fly Thales AVANT IFE on A350 XWBs

February 16, 2016 – Thales In-Flyt Experience has secured a contract to equip Singapore Airlines with its AVANT IFE and Ka-band connectivity systems on the airline’s future fleet of A350 XWB aircraft configured for medium-haul operations.

Patrice Caine, chairman and CEO of Thales, stated, “The investment and efforts that Thales has put in developing its operations in Singapore have borne fruit with this announcement. Thales will be supplying Inflight entertainment and connectivity systems to Singapore Airlines’ brand new fleet of Airbus A350 XWBs configured for medium-haul operations. This is an important announcement for Thales because of the reputation Singapore Airlines has across the world for its excellence in cabin experience and passenger comfort”.
