ELeather launches New Romantic trend collection

ELeather, a manufacturer of sustainable leather for aviation, has launched New Romantic, its latest trend collection with fresh new colours and textures, and a theme of sustainable values. The collection, says the company, ‘embraces the mystery and intrigue of the natural world’ and features soft pastel shades inspired by natural wonders such as urchins, pearls, shells and thistles.

The collection is based on the company’s sustainable leather product, which contains up to 55% recycled content, and is created using a clean manufacturing process. The New Romantic range can be embellished through embossing, stitching, perforation and printing to create custom effects.

Nicky Fox, head designer at ELeather, said that, “The range is sentimental, unisex and dreamy. It has a slight shimmer so colours shift in the light like the intricate surface of a seashell. The hero colours of Pearl, Thistle and Urchin are a little hazy with iridescence, reflecting trends seen in purple and lilac.”

She added that, “The range has been compiled to reflect emerging trends. Consumers want these tones, these textures and this commitment to sustainability. Together, it’s a winning proposition we think designers and brands will love.”

The New Romantic range builds upon ELeather’s previous colour and texture trend collections, which included Tactile Neutrals, Eco Brights, Ancestral Dark and a metallic range, which were all designed to change perceptions of what is possible with a leather look. “The days of muted, corporate-looking tones being the default setting are no more, and through offering greater choice we are empowering brands to expand their creative horizons, while increasing use of recycled materials,” said Fox.
