October 9, 2015 – Istanbul-based MNG Jet has completed the refurbishment of a 17-year old Challenger 604 business jet, with the thorough program including changing the sidewall and ceiling panels, refurbishing the lavatory, galley and cockpit, and repainting the fuselage. The aircraft also benefited from extensive trim and finish work, including new carpets, seat leathers, seatbelts, veneers, and replated metals.

The work was completed in 12 weeks during the scheduled 96-month inspection and landing gear overhaul program. According to MNG, the aircraft was delivered to the owner looking like new and within the contractual turnaround time and price. For its next project, MNG Jet is preparing for its first Global Express refurbishment in the first quarter of 2016, to be carried out while the aircraft is undergoing a scheduled 8C check.
