FAI Technik completes first Challenger cabin refurb

Germany-based MRO, FAI Technik GmbH, has completed its first full refurbishment of a Challenger series aircraft, with a pre-owned Bombardier Challenger 604 (MSN 5412) worked on for a corporate client. The aircraft, which was handed over to its new Germany-based owner earlier in the month, will be operated under NCC regulations by FAI Technik’s parent company, FAI rent-a-jet GmbH.

The €1 million project took approximately 2,500 hours of work to complete and features VIP seating for 12 passengers. The trim and finish scheme includes high-gloss carbon fibre veneer surfaces, soft furnishings in shades of grey, polished smoked nickel with glossy clear-coat metal platings throughout, and white marble countertops and stone floors in the galley and lavatory.

The luxury interior is complemented with the installation of Gogo’s Aviator 300 voice and data system with intermediate gain antenna, wi-fi internet and Collins´ Airshow 500 3D moving map system.
