Jet MS acquires RAS Group

Avia Solutions Group subsidiary, Jet MS, a provider of base and line maintenance services for business and regional aircraft, has acquired the UK-based RAS Group, comprising RAS Completions and RAS Interiors. RAS Group is an aircraft interior, exterior and completions company specialising in both VIP and commercial aircraft.

Founded in 1996, RAS Group is based at London Biggin Hill Airport, a business aviation airport. RAS Group’s aviation services include commercial aircraft interiors, VIP and business jet interiors, aircraft interior design, aircraft seating, aircraft galleys and cabin stowage. Further service inslude helicopter painting, military aircraft painting and coatings, paintwork protection and aircraft exteriors.

London Biggin Hill Airport is located 12 miles from Canary Wharf and 15 miles from central London, and is one of the busiest private airports in Europe. In terms of total aircraft movements in 2020, London Biggin Hill ranked second in the UK after Farnborough and sixth in Europe. The airport is home to several resident aviation companies, as well as Bombardier’s European service centre, a 23,000 square meter facility capable of servicing up to 14 Global 7500 aircraft simultaneously.

Jet MS plans to expand the RAS Group offering to include base maintenance, line maintenance, and spare parts trading services, with investments planned in terms of facilities and workforce.
