Avianor has been granted a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) the first of four Gulf Air A330 aircraft it was contracted to complete in January 2014, and has released the aircraft back to service. This project introduces all-new cabin seating, a refreshed interior as well as an updated IFE system to the Gulf Air long-haul fleet.
Avianor is acting as the “turn‐key provider” managing the programme, and is responsible for the engineering, certification and installation of this upgrade. The work is being performed at Avianor’s MRO facility located in Mirabel, Quebec.
