Civil Aviation South East Asia Summit 2023 (CASEA 2023)

The sixth edition of the Civil Aviation South East Asia Summit 2023 (CASEA 2023) will be held in Bangkok on 25-26 July, 2023. CASEA is the longest run and most influential civil aviation event in Thailand.

Since the inaugural event in 2016, CASEA had been successfully held four editions annually till 2019 after which the Covid-19 broke out. After two years’ suspension, the 5th CASEA took place on 22-23 June 2022 with participation from major airlines and airports in the region, thanks to Thai government for removing nearly all the Covid-related international travel restrictions.

The major South East Asia economies lifted most of the international travel restrictions in Q2 or Q3 in last year. And the international air travel market started to recover gradually in Q3 and Q4. We believe 2023 would be the year that international capacity returns almost to pre-pandemic levels, though there are still some major hurdles on the path to full recovery that the industry must overcome.

To cope with the post-pandemic challenges and boost the international air travel to full recovery, governments are attracting international air travellers with favourable policies; airports are striving to develop and expand infrastructure capacity; airlines are rebuilding fleets, networks and workforces, establishing MRO facilities and capabilities, training young talents to meet the workforce demand, etc.

By inviting civil aviation authorities, airlines, airport operators/owners, OEMs, MROs, aviation training schools, aircraft leasing companies, parts suppliers, equipment manufacturers, solution providers, investors, consultants and associations, CASEA 2023 hopes to build an ideal platform for industry communication and promote aviation development in challenging times.
