A side-on view of the new La Première suite, spanning five windows, with a curtain tied back at either end of the seat
The new La Première suite spans five windows, rather than the previous four. A key feature is the full-length, full-height curtain that enables the customer to control their level of privacy
A female lying on the chaise longue in the new air france La Première suite, watching a film on the video screen
The suite now features two 32-inch 4K IFE displays, rather than a single 24-inch monitor, opening up viewing options from the seat, bed and chaise longue
After TTL, customers can move from the seat to the chaise longue if they wish, or have a travel companion join them
The chaise longue creates additional options for relaxing, to make a long flight more comfortable
The chair in La Premiere makes for a comfortable space in which to work
The seat is also a relaxing place to catch up with reading, aided by the natural light from the five windows
La Première guests can enjoy personalised service and a three-star gourmet dining experience
Plus de champagne? Bien sûr!
The large, sturdy bi-fold table is a versatile piece of furniture
There are no overhead stowage compartments in the La Première cabin, which adds to the open feel. Storage needs are met using floor-level storage, including a large sliding drawer that can accommodate up to two carry-on cases
A second drawer beneath the chaise longue can hold footwear
The lighting and window shades adjustments in the suite can be controlled via the wireless touchscreen tablet, as can the seat, chaise longue and bed options
The curtain adds a feeling of softness in bed, and also helps muffle cabin noise
The gap between the seat and a chaise longue can be bridged to create a fully flat bed measuring 2m long and 75cm wide – very similar to the current dimensions
La Premiere is still a four-seat cabin, but the footprint of the new suite is nearly 3.5 square metres – 25% more space than the current B777 suites. The airline says the new first class is ‘another step forward in its move upmarket’
The La Premiere experience includes the spacious airport lounge, the private onboard suite, three-star cuisine, a selection of fine wines and champagnes, and more
The lighting system includes two lamps adorned with the signature Air France winged seahorse, available as wall-mounted and floor-standing fixtures
Air France’s signature winged seahorse motif is applied in elements such as the headrests and lamp shades
There are two colourways of the Sisley-branded amenity kits in first class
The Sisley amenity kits contain comfort items including hand cream, eye contour balm, a hydrating and moisturising serum, an anti-aging cream, pen, wooden comb, earplugs and night mask
La Première guests can enjoy loungewear from French fashion house, Jacquemus
