Gulf Air has taken delivery of the first of its 29 new Airbus A321neoLR aircraft due for delivery over the next five years. All these aircraft will be fitted with Recaro Aircraft Seating’s CL3710, a lightweight long-haul economy class seat.
“Gulf Air is a fantastic customer for Recaro, as we are both concentrating on expanding our footprint in the Middle East,” said Dr Mark Hiller, CEO of Recaro Aircraft Seating.
The CL3710, which has earned design accolades including a Crystal Cabin Award, includes a six-way adjustable headrest, an extended seat bottom, a seamless flip cushion for enhanced lumbar support, and a 30in seat pitch.
