Italy-based aircraft seating manufacturer, JHAS has secured a launch customer for its Aurora 2.0 economy class seat. JHAS is a relatively new name in aviation, as is Tayaranjet, a Bulgarian carrier (callsign Aladin) which was established in 2017 and has a modest fleet of two Boeing 737-300s.

The Aurora 2.0 seat is designed for short- and medium-haul flights, and JHAS says it is optimised for the 95 percentile male passenger. Features include an upper literature pocket, a slim backrest to increase knee clearance, a comfortable armrest, and a recline function.

Mario Schisa, CEO of JHAS stated, “Tayaranjet trusted our professionalism and our new ideas to rethink aircraft seating, for customisation and the needs of passengers.”
