South Africa-based low-cost carrier, Mango Airlines has extended its relationship with UK-based aircraft seating manufacturer, Acro, through the selection of the Series 3 Ultra economy class seat for two of its B737-800 aircraft. This order marks the delivery of 14 shipsets in total since Mango first selected the seat in 2014 for its all-B737 fleet, which operates domestic routes.

Alan McInnes, SVP of sales at Acro said that the Series 3 Ultra seat, “meets the heavy demands of the hardworking low-cost carrier fleet as it delivers reliability and low cost of ownership. Passenger comfort is maximised with the reclining seat back and unique space-saving design which unlocks 2in more legroom than conventional seats.”
