First ACJ TwoTwenty section arrives at Mirabel FAL

0

On 17 May the first section of the ACJ TwoTwenty arrived at Airbus’s A220 Final Assembly Line (FAL) in Mirabel, Canada. The arrival of this mid-fuselage section marks the start of the first Airbus corporate jet ever assembled in Canada.

The ACJ TwoTwenty has a flexible cabin catalogue to help ensure comfort over the aircraft’s intercontinental range (up to 5,650nm/10,500km – over 12 flight hours). The cabin has 73m2/785ft2 of floorspace, and is the only business jet with six wide VIP living areas for up to 19 passengers.

The ACJ TwoTwenty was launched in late 2020 and has already won orders for six aircraft, possibly attracted by its price tag just under the typical cost of an Ultra Long Range bizjet. Comlux will be the first to take delivery of the ACJ TwoTwenty this winter and will be the exclusive outfitter for the first 15 aircraft.
