GKN Aerospace lands Boeing 777X wiring contract

GKN Aerospace has been awarded a contract to supply electrical wiring interconnection systems (EWIS) for the Boeing 777X family of aircraft, with production due to start in 2024. The company, which has been a supplier of EWIS products to Boeing for more than 20 years, will deliver the 777X systems from multiple locations around the world, including Langfang in China, and its new wiring facility in Pune, India.

John Pritchard, GKN Aerospace’s president of civil airframes said, “This new contract demonstrates our  continued commitment to quality, on-time delivery and customer focus, and it is a significant addition to our extensive portfolio. This success builds upon our partnership over the years and we are delighted to strengthen and expand our business relationship with Boeing Commercial Airplanes.”
