Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd (ST Engineering) has incorporated Aeria, its VIP completion and refurbishment business division based in San Antonio, USA as a subsidiary. As an incorporated company, Aeria will now be focused on the aircraft completion business for Boeing and Airbus jets.
Under the terms of the incorporation, Aeria will also operate under its own Part 145 Repair Station certificate issued by the FAA. Having established certification as an independent FAA repair center, Aeria will be able to streamline the maintenance, refurbishment and completion aspects of its completions work.
In other Aeria news, the company recently completed a 14,000ft² expansion of its facilities with a cabinet and upholstery shop, and an additional building for the design, sales and marketing teams, which includes a design showroom.
