JAL opens revamped Sakura lounge at Osaka

July 24, 2015 – Japan Airlines (JAL) has opened its newly-renovated Sakura lounge for international flights at Osaka (Kansai) Airport. Located near Gate 37, the updated facilities have been redesigned in a modern Japanese style, to create a comfortable environment in its lounges to deliver a message of the “Heart of Japan” and “Japanese Hospitality” to customers.

The 177-seat Sakura Lounge now boasts a newly designed entrance and interiors; two massage chairs; a smoking room with seats; baggage storage with electric locks; a spacious dining area; an enlarged and improved buffet counter; a new make-up corner in the ladies restroo;, more power outlets around each seat; and bigger displays for flight information.

The food offering has also been enhanced, with two types of popular curry available all day, a salad bar, and special dishes cooked at the Halal certified kitchen during dinner times.
