Gategroup Holding AG has renewed key agreements with Virgin Atlantic. Extending its current contract, which was set to expire in June 2017, Gategroup will manage Virgin Atlantic’s onboard provisioning services, menu and service design concept, and total food sourcing and distribution. The agreement covers extensions of business in the UK, the US and Shanghai for periods of up to five years.

Mark Anderson, EVP for customer at Virgin Atlantic commented, “The food we serve on board plays an important part in our customer’s journey. From our locally sourced dishes, to the ice-cream handed out during the movies, we believe in providing the best inflight experience for our customers. We are excited to extend our partnership with Gategroup to continue delivering the innovative experience our customers love.”
