As a result of a multi-year, global agreement, Satair and Regent Aerospace are to cooperate for cabin repair, refurbishment, modifications, reconfigurations and upgrade services.

This is Satair’s first such agreement with an aircraft cabin/OEM supplier. As a specialist in commercial cabin interiors, Regent will enable Satair to offer additional solutions for airlines, lessors and MROs.

“This agreement is unique because it offers our customers a one-stop solution for their cabin while keeping them integrated in our network,” said Paul Lochab, chief commercial officer at Satair.

“Our goal for our customers is quicker turnaround times that yield higher asset utilization. Our customers want us to build solutions by vertically integrating our service offerings and this agreement brings a highly capable partner to the table.”

The agreement covers services including MRO, retrofits, and cabin interior modifications and upgrades. Spares for plastic components, food trays, arm caps, cushions and dress covers are covered. Satair will have the exclusive global distribution rights to ovens, life vests, overhead bins, PSU panels and doors.

Cabin upgrades and refurbishment items will be costed by Regent, with qualified lead-times for all selling activities set forth by Satair, and a cabin interiors price list and a price variation for interior repairs/refurbishment.

The companies are targeting four main activities – heavy checks, light checks, lease return checks and generic work scope activity.
