Cooperation between AVIC Cabin Systems and Diehl Aviation

0

AVIC Cabin Systems (ACS) and Diehl Aviation are to collaborate in various ways in the Chinese market. The companies could collaborate in procurement and supply chain activities, manufacturing projects and marketing cabin interior projects. The details of the organizational setup are yet to be decided.

The aim is to enable the partners to cater for “growing demand for aircraft cabin products worldwide, and in China in particular”.

ACS was launched by AVIC in July 2018. It benefits from the expertise of several AVIC subsidiaries – FACC and Fesher for floor-to-floor interiors, AIM Altitude for monuments and galleys, and Thompson Aero Seating and Jiatai for business and economy seat technologies.

ACS provides turnkey cabin solutions for line-fit and retrofit. Its customers include airlines and OEMs such as Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier and Embraer. Diehl Aviation supplies aircraft systems and cabin interior products for aircraft manufacturers and operators.
