Marilake grows its galley business

Marilake Aerosystems, a UK-based independent repair workshop for galley equipment, avionics and instruments, has announced a further investment in its galley insert repair division, which was opened earlier this year.

Managing director Gerry Griffiths commented, “Despite the global downturn in commercial aviationvdue to the pandemic, we have seen steady growth in galley repairs. We have introduced a number of improved efficiency measures within the galley workshop to further reduce TATs and continue to invest in tooling and equipment. We have also begun to invest in carefully selected galley inserts such as coffee makers and ovens for lease or exchange.”
