Boeing extends Astronics PECO components contract

Aerospace technologies company, Astronics Corporation has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Astronics PECO, has been awarded a multi-year contract extension to provide custom-manufactured interior and structural components to Boeing for installation across multiple aircraft platforms.

Under the contract extension, Astronics PECO will continue to provide its passenger service units (PSUs), fuel tank access doors and environmental control system components, among other parts. The products will serve on a variety of Boeing aircraft, including Boeing 737, 747, 767, 777 and KC-46 models.

Peter J. Gundermann, president and CEO of Astronics Corporation, stated, “We enjoy a long-standing, valued relationship with Boeing, which has been reaffirmed with this long-term commitment for us to provide them with custom-manufactured interior and structural components for multiple aircraft platforms. We believe our design and manufacturing capability, throughput capacity and on-time delivery records enable us to continue to win this business.”
