This year’s APEX Expo – an in-person industry event – is set to attract 3,000 aviation professionals including airline CEOs, executives, suppliers and decision-makers to connect, collaborate and innovate over three full days.

After a year’s hiatus due to Covid-19, the expo will take place from 19-21 October at the Long Beach Convention Center in California. As well as enjoying meeting with colleagues and industry face to face, visitors can enjoy a conference, a show floor and more.

The event will begin on 19 October at the Thought Leadership Conference, with the morning consisting of breakout sessions, followed by afternoon sessions presented by airline CEOs and executives.

On 20 October, the Expo floor will open, and in the evening there will be a networking event, followed by the annual APEX/IFSA awards ceremony.

The awards ceremony will recognise specific achievements made during the past year. Nominations across eight categories, including Best Inflight Connectivity Innovation, Best Inflight Entertainment Innovation, Best Airport Innovation, Best Marketing Innovation, Best Cabin Innovation, Best Product or Service, Best Inflight Food or Beverage and Best Onboard Amenity, are open until 30 July. Submit your nomination now.

The 2022 Passenger Choice Awards, Four and Five Star Official Airline Ratings and more will also be announced during the course of the evening.

While visitors may enjoy face time after a year of FaceTime, APEX is taking precautions to ensure the health and wellbeing of attendees. Delegates at APEX Expo will thereby be required to provide proof of full vaccination (attendees must have received their second dose by 3rd October) or of a negative Covid-19 test, as well as to comply with local and national Covid-19 rules and restrictions. A photo ID will be required in order for delegates to collect their badges.

The Long Beach Health Department will be offering free vaccinations and complimentary on-site testing to all APEX Expo attendees. Click here for more health and safety-related information.
