Austrian wins amenity award with Formia kit

August 7, 2015: Austrian Airlines has won the ‘Ethically Sustainable’ accolade for its long haul business cass amenity kit in the the TravelPlus awards. This is not the first time the Airline has won this award for its Formia-supplied business class amenity kits: it also won in 2011.

The kits are inspired by the stunning mountain scenery for which Austria is famous around the world. They comprise a durable Loden-look fabric bag containing skincare items from the renowned German Bogner range of cosmetics. Presented in a variety of different designs, each comfort kit features a traditional Austrian motif embroidered using a typical Austrian leather stitching interpreted in a modern way. The kits make a perfect collectors’ item as well as an attractive accessory suitable for many post-flight uses.

Being made in felt from an environmentally friendly and sustainable source – recycled PET – this bag fits the award criteria perfectly.”
