Royal Jordanian smells a paxex opportunity

July 3, 2017 – A new brand collaboration has begun between Royal Jordanian Airlines and 4711 House of Fragrances. Under the deal, brokered by Spiriant, the classic 4711 cologne – reportedly a favorite of the late King Hussein of Jordan and still a brand used by the Jordanian royal family – is now featured in the airline’s amenity kits.

Royal Jordanian has offered the unisex 4711 cologne in its aircraft lavatories since the early 1970s. “It made complete sense to us to propose continuity from the lavatory to the amenity kits for Royal Jordanian,” said Michel Kuitems, director of sales & product at Spiriant Middle East. “We pride ourselves in creating brand collaborations that are both innovative and practical, and this is a perfect example of that.”
