Aircraft interiors supplier, Jamco, has released renderings of its new ‘Quest for Elegance’ business-class seat concept. The seat is designed to maximise passenger space and comfort in high-density cabins, with a design aim of creating the feel of ‘an elegant premium hotel in the sky’. A key feature is the unique tilting IFE monitor, a patented with a wide-angle adjustment that allows passengers to enjoy entertainment in any position, whether in reclined, sleep or bed mode. Jamco says the tilting monitor option opens up 30% more knee space than any other high-density business class seat on the market.

For those travelling with a companion, the deployable privacy partitions between the centre double seats can be lowered to create a roomy full-flat bed. Passengers in the aisle seats also have adjustable privacy, with the aisle-side doors.

Jamco expects to have the ‘Quest for Elegance’ seat ready for installation in 2024 or early 2025.
