AUNDE strengthens textile business with KGP acquisition

February 13, 2017 – Following the acquisition of the remaining stakes in Karmann Ghia do Portugal (KGP), AUNDE has taken ownership of the company with a view to strengthening and extending its production of aerospace fabrics and complete seat covers. Following this deal, KGP will now be known as AUNDE Portugal.

KGP manufactures seat covers, curtains and other textile and leather products to airlines, seat makers and the MRO industry, as well as aircraft manufacturers. KGP is certified to ADOA and PART 21, subpart G / POA – FORM 1 and EN 9100:2009, EN ISO 9001:2008 aerospace standards, with additional accreditations ISO/TS16949:2009 and EN ISO 14001:2012.
