New VP of S&M at Sekisui SPI

October 9, 2015 – Sekisui Polymer Innovations (SPI) has appointed Karen Brock Amoah to the role of VP of sales and marketing. In this role, Amoah will focus on long-term strategy while supporting the companys sales and marketing teams and supervising the company’s international manufacturer representatives.

Ronn Cort, COO & president of SPI stated, “This promotion is the second Karen has received since she joined the company last June. She has continued to exemplify our brand promise of ‘delivering more than our customers can imagine’ in her roles as business manager – medical and North American business manager.”

Lydia Swan, former VP of sales and marketing, has decided to leave SPI to explore new opportunities. Cort added, “Lydia has been a valued and esteemed part of our company since 2012. It is with warmest personal regards that we wish her success in her promising future.”

Before joining SPI, Karen was the sales and marketing director – Americas at IPS Corporation, a global manufacturer of bonding systems and adhesives for marine, transportation, building construction, and product assembly markets. She has over 25 years of experience in leading and establishing business growth in manufacturing.
