Following its recent inauguration of a Singapore distribution and repair facility, Ipeco has announced further expansion across the Asia Pacific region, with the opening of a Beijing repair facility to complement its Hong Kong distribution centre in Greater China. The Beijing facility will cover cockpit seating for the Boeing 737, 767, 777 and 787 series, as well as all crew seating for Embraer E2 series aircraft, with galley insert repair capability being added later in 2020.
The facilities in Beijing and Hong Kong both come under the purview of general manager, Christina Chong, who stated, “Greater China is becoming an increasingly important market for Ipeco and we are delighted to receive our CAAC Maintenance Organisation Certificate for our new Beijing facility. We are already set-up to support our biggest-selling seats in the region and we want to quickly develop our galley insert workshop to back-up our growing sales with local airlines.”
