The organizers of the World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo (WTCE) have confirmed that the Taste of Travel program will return to Hamburg in April, enabling airline, rail and cruise operators to learn about the future of onboard services and how they will enhance the passenger experience.

Running from April 2-4, 2019, the Taste of Travel Theatre will feature a free-to-attend program that delivers inspiration, advice and samples of the latest product innovations. Onboard chefs and passenger experience leaders will also be able to apply to join the program and share their invaluable insights with representatives from international airlines, rail operators and cruise lines (contact details below).

Insights to deliver better onboard services

Organized by former Onboard Hospitality editor, Jo Austin, a series of product launches and live cookery demonstrations will be complemented by presentations and panel discussions covering a range of pertinent issues, such as packaging, sustainability, food waste, pre-ordering and wellbeing. There will also be an opportunity for newcomers to the industry to meet ‘onboard mentors. in a dedicated session.

The practical sessions will also provide advice on how to drive revenue onboard, with experts from the aviation, rail and cruise sectors offering insights that will help brand owners tap into the lucrative travel catering and onboard services market.

Returning to the Hamburg Messe from April 2-4, 2019 as part of Passenger Experience Week, WTCE is one of four leading events in one destination, alongside the Passenger Experience Conference, Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) and returning following its debut in 2018, Passenger Technology Solutions.
