Adient Aerospace completes certification of Ascent suite

Adient Aerospace has successfully completed the certification of its Ascent business class seat. The seat model is designed for widebody cabins and is available with various options such as doors to provide passenger separation and privacy: both growing trends, particularly given a desire for social distancing. The Ascent business class suite is now HIC certified, ETSO approved, Sub part G approved and APDOA approved.

Andy Masson, CEO of Adient Aerospace stated, “I want to thank everyone involved in the tremendous efforts to certify our Ascent business class seat and furniture. We have successfully completed our HIC testing campaign and received ETSO approval. This was a big group effort from every department across all of our sites, and had exceptional support from our partners, customers and suppliers alike. We’re excited to offer our customers a certified product for retrofit and linefit programmes.”

‍Andy Masson is confident in the recovery of air travel, and in demand for business class suites. Find out more HERE.
