With the arrival of the first of its 10 A350s on order, Air China, has become the launch customer for the aircraft type in mainland China. The flag carrier has ordered 2,500 CL3710 long-haul economy class seats from Recaro Aircraft Seating for the A350s, with comfort features including six-way adjustable headrests, newly developed footrests, and articulated seat pans.
Recaro has been enjoying success in China of late, having received an order for more than 300 CL5710 business class seats and 5,500 BL3530 economy class seats from Shenzhen Airlines just last week, for its fleet of 37 Boeing 737MAX aircraft.
