Boliviana de Aviación (BoA), the government-owned flag carrier airline of Bolivia, has selected the Hawk lightweight economy seat from Mirus Aircraft Seating as the retrofit model for its eight Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The seats, which are certified and available for Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 aircraft types, will be delivered and installed in March and April 2023.

Mirus regards Latin America as an important and growing market for aircraft seating. Ronald Casso Casso, general manager of BoA commented on the contract, “After considering various seating options for our 737-800 retrofits, we were impressed both with the Hawk as a suitable product and the superior level of customer support offered by Mirus. Once retrofitted, the Hawk will significantly enhance the appearance of our cabins and offer our passengers a class-leading experience in terms of comfort and living space.”
