The Cambiano business class seat, created in Italy as a collaboration between Iacobucci HF Aerospace and Pininfarina, has won the International Yacht and Aviation design Award in the Cabin Design category. The International Yacht & Aviation Awards are hosted by Luxe et al (a yacht and aviation magazine), with shortlisted entries voted on by industry professionals, Luxe et al‘s readers, clients and customers.

Cambiano was first introduced as a concept at Aircraft Interiors Expo 2017, and at the 2018 show in April, Iacobucci showed further refinements to the design, as you can see in the June 2018 issue of Aircraft Interiors International.

Receiving an international award among other prestigious companies made us very proud”, stated Lucio Iacobucci, president and CEO of Iacobucci HF Aerospace, “and confirmed our vision of a bespoke business class seat in a competitive marketplace where airlines need to differentiate and offer more quality, service, comfort and elegance in the premium cabins”.

The Cambiano seat can offer a fully flat bed at a 67in pitch. Features of the demonstrator seat include a private stowage drawer lined with Alcantara, a 16.1in IFE display, electrical PC power outlets and three USB chargers
