Gulf Air Dreamliners to feature B/E business seating

July 15, 2016 – Gulf Air has made a decision on the business class seating for its 10 Boeing 787s, due for delivery in2018, opting for a customized model from B/E Aerospace.

Commenting on the announcement, Maher Salman Al Musallam, Gulf Air CEO, said, “We are enhancing the entire spectrum of Gulf Air’s onboard product offering, and with this key partnership we are confident that the passenger experience will be elevated – meeting the needs and requirements of travelers moving across the Gulf Air network.”

According to the parties, the seat will be jointly developed with Gulf Air to provide enhanced living space, functionality and comfort. The seats will also feature Thales Avant IFE systems with Touch Passenger Media Unit handsets, as announced this week at Farnborough International Airshow.
