December 17, 2015 – With the retrofit of new cabins in its fourth aircraft – and A340 – French carrier Air Tahiti Nui has completed the fleet renovation program it initiated two years ago. The highlights of the US$22.4 million project include improved seat comfort in business and economy class and a new wireless IFE system, all lighter weight than the products they replace.

The work was carried out by Sabena Technics in France, which developed and supplied the STC (Supplemental Type Certificate) in-house, as well as the kit manufacturing for the cabin modification.
