Qatar Executive to fit air ionisation systems on G650ER fleet

Qatar Executive, the private jet charter division of Qatar Airways Group, is preparing to introduce air ionisation systems on its fleet of 12 Gulfstream G650ER aircraft (three of which will be delivered during 2022). These active systems are designed to eliminate potentially harmful pathogens and allergens in the cabin, including bacteria, viruses and mould spores, as well as volatile organic compounds (VOCs) such as visible smoke and undesirable odours.

Qatar Executive has already retrofitted two of its G650ER jets with the air ionisation systems, and will continue installing the devices across the fleet over the next three months.

Qatar Executive is the world’s largest owner-operator of the Gulfstream G650ER, the fastest ultra-long-range business jet, which has a range of 7,500 nautical miles.
