S7 Airlines customers can earn miles as they stay at home

Russia-based carrier. S7 Airlines, a brand of Siberia Airlines, has launched ‘Fly at Home’, a promotion that can help its loyalty programme members earn points as they stay at home. During the month of April, customers will receive 100 miles on their personal S7 Priority loyalty programme accounts for every day they spend at home.

As the airline said in a statement, ‘The best thing that each of us can do in the fight against the pandemic today is to limit our movements and stay at home. Travelling will return to our lives. Perhaps not now, but later – definitely.’

This initiative by the airline is intended to support everyone who has made a conscious decision to temporarily change their lifestyle, including delaying optional flights. To take part in the promotion, customers need to log into or register for the S7 Priority loyalty programme and confirm their presence at home on the s7.ru website once a day.

To earn miles, users just need to click on the ‘I’m home’ button and share their geolocation every day. If the location does not change, the next 100 miles will be credited their S7 Priority account. Travellers can use these points not only on future flights and additional S7 Airlines services, but also to get closer to receiving a new status in the loyalty programme. If users share information about the promotion on social networks, they can collect miles together with their friends and followers, meaning an entire group of travellers can collect miles for future flights.

All miles received during the ‘Fly at Home’ promotion, as well as those accumulated earlier, will remain on S7 Priority accounts until the end of 2021. The miles can be used at any time by buying tickets using the Miles & Cash method, which makes it possible to pay partially with miles, and partially with money.
