MSI and Reheat International have signed an agreement to jointly repair aircraft galley equipment, such as ovens, coffee/beverage makers, water heaters and boilers, at MSI’s EASA Part 145 maintenance facility located in Moscow, Russian Federation.
In addition to adding Reheat’s specialist repair capability and expertise to the existing MSI MRO facility, MSI will also keep an exchange pool of ovens, coffee / beverage makers and water boilers there to support AOG and exchange requirements for customers in the Russian, Baltic and Eastern European region.
This co-operation comes on the back of a similar joint venture established in Dubai in 2013 that allows both MSI and Reheat to expand their presence and capabilities locally to better support customers. The new joint galley equipment repair shop is approved by EASA, and became operational in December 2014.
